Les Poissons Volants


Since 1989, the company Les Poissons Volants, created by Sophie Goupil produces documentaries, movies, short films and artistic videos. Those contents show how they want to exceed convention and genre in increasing unusual and fascinating thematic of our society and its evolution. Our last productions Smart secrets of great paintings, a collection of 26’ animated films directed by Clément Cogitore and Carlos Franklin (ARTE France-Rmn Grand Palais-Canopé), Diego Velázquez Wild realism, 52’ directed by Karim Aïnouz (ARTE France-Rmn Grand-Palais), L’Autriche d’Arno Geiger, Robert Menasse et Josef Winkler, 52’ directed by Michaël Gaumnitz, Les Debré, 60’ directed by Emmanuel Hamon (France 3), La France et ses immigrés, 60’ directed by Valéry Gaillard (France 3). In august 2016 Les Poissons Volants have produced their first VR movie, "The Temptation of St-Anthony by Hieronymus Bosch", initiating an innovative approach to documentaries and a new way to use virtual reality. On the same principle, two new VR movies are in developpement : "Las Meninas by Diego Velasquez" and "The Wedding at Cana by Paolo Veronese", with our new partner for VR, Small Studio.
